Having egg and dart moulding to the edge, the plain elegant tazza shaped urn is supported by a fluted socle and raised on a plain base.
The urn and socle are both stamped 'Blashfields Patent Terracotta'. This design appears first in John Marriott Blashfield's catalogue of 1857, design number 175.
